Roles and Responsibilities
- Maintain inventory of tool room to support maintenance and construction projects.
- Keep readily available parts and materials needed for commercial & maintenance jobs.
- Code all receipts for all purchased items and forward to accounting for processing.
- Help with morning/evening dispatch.
- Keep warehouse/office clean and safe.
- Keep schedule provided by management up and on display at all times.
- Organize commercial equipment by store and usage.
- Dispose and remove of old used equipment and large trash.
- Maintain parking lots.
- Keep parking lot in front and behind fence free of trash at all times.
- Retrieve materials and equipment from vendors daily or as needed.
- Manage shipping and receiving.
- Enter & maintain all items in Sortly.
- Weekly reporting to upper management
- Oversee the distribution, movement, storage of inventory and materials.
- Resolve inventory arrival complaints and customer service.
- Hire, manage, and train warehouse employees.
- Negotiate supplier and shipment costs.
- Monitor workplace safety standards and ensure they are being followed.
- Manage logistics process & budgets with the team.
- Develop cost-reducing strategies and improvements for efficiency.
- Enterprise Fleet Management
- Geotab vehicle tracking & reporting.
- Salesperson for decommissioned trucks
- Managing tool replacement or repairment
- Material Procurement as needed.
- Building Maintenance
Skills, Abilities, Working Conditions and Experience Required
- Physical ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
- Physical ability to lift and carry items, weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Self-starter with the ability to set and manage multiple priorities in a high-volume work environment.
- Experienced forklift operator
- Clean DMV record.
- Ability to drive & operate 20’ stake bed trucks.
