Project Coordinator I (Level 1)
POSITION SUMMARY
The Project Coordinator (PC) Level 1 is an entry-level role supporting the project team through accurate documentation, administrative coordination, and disciplined execution of assigned tasks under direct supervision. This role is designed to build foundational construction knowledge, reinforce PR Construction's systems and standards, and develop reliability and professionalism as you grow in your career.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Project Documentation & Controls Support
- Maintain project files including RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, and logs
- Upload, route, and track documents per PR standards
- Verify completeness, formatting, and accuracy before submission
Administrative & Coordination Support
- Assist Project Managers and Superintendents with coordination tasks
- Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and distribute meeting notes
- Track action items and follow up as directed
Schedule Awareness & Tracking
- Learn project schedule structure and terminology
- Track milestone dates, submittal deadlines, and material lead times
- Notify the Project Manager of upcoming deadlines or missing information
Cost & Change Documentation Support
- Assist with assembling backup for change requests and change orders
- Maintain change logs and budget trackers under supervision
Field & Team Integration
- Attend jobsite meetings and site walks as required
- Support Superintendents with documentation and reporting
- Maintain clear communication between field and office teams
Systems, Tools & Process Discipline
- Maintain accurate data in ProjectSight
- Follow PR standard operating procedures
- Keep records organized and audit-ready
Professional Development
- Accept coaching and feedback
- Complete required training and process reviews
- Demonstrate accountability, reliability, and a learning mindset
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience considered
- Entry-level position — internship experience, relevant coursework, or field exposure is a plus but not required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Familiarity with ProjectSight or similar construction project management software preferred
- Ability to read basic construction drawings and specifications a plus
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Clear, professional written and verbal communication
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for jobsite visits
COMPENSATION
Pay Range: [Insert Level 1 PE/PC pay band]
