Project Executive (Levels I–V)
Location: Orange County, CA

Reports To: Executive Leadership
Role Overview
PR Construction is seeking Project Executives at multiple experience levels to lead project portfolios, client relationships, and operational performance across our commercial construction work. Project Executives are accountable for financial outcomes, execution consistency, risk management, and team development.
Candidates will be evaluated and placed at the appropriate level (I–V) based on experience, demonstrated capability, and leadership readiness.
Core Responsibilities (All Levels)

Provide leadership oversight across assigned projects or portfolios

Ensure financial performance, schedule discipline, quality, and safety standards

Lead and support client relationships and executive-level communication

Mentor and develop Project Managers and senior staff

Support risk identification, forecasting, and decision-making

Partner with Preconstruction, Operations, and Executive Leadership
Level Overview & Scope
Level I – Associate Project Executive
Supports portfolio oversight, reporting, and coordination under senior leadership.
Level II – Project Executive I
Manages defined portfolios with moderate autonomy and supports PM execution.
Level III – Project Executive II
Independently manages portfolios and client relationships with full accountability.
Level IV – Senior Project Executive
Leads multiple portfolios and strategic clients; develops senior leaders.
Level V – Principal / Executive Project Executive
Sets standards and drives enterprise-level execution, growth, and leadership development.
Qualifications

Commercial construction leadership experience appropriate to level
-
Strong financial, contractual, and risk management understanding

Proven ability to lead teams and client relationships

Executive-level communication and decision-making capability
Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field

Experience with TI, ground-up, negotiated, or design-assist delivery
-
Portfolio or enterprise-level leadership experience
Compensation Transparency (California)
Compensation is based on level, experience, and qualifications.

Level I: $170,000 – $190,000
-
Level II: $190,000 – $230,000
-
Level III: $220,000 – $270,000
-
Level IV: $250,000 – $310,000
-
Level V: $290,000 – $380,000
Bonus eligibility and additional incentives may apply by level.
